Art History Minor 2017

18 credits required. Grade of C or better required in all minor courses.
  • If you are a Fine Arts major, Art History I and II (22-1101 and 22-1102) AND Art Theory Seminar (22-3110) will fulfill both the major and minor requirement.
  • Graphic Design majors can double count 22-2170 (History of Communication Design) toward both the major and the minor.
  • Interior Architecture majors can double count 22-1131 -OR- 22-1132 (History of Architecture I -OR- II) toward both the major and the minor.
  • Photography students can share Art History II (22-1102) OR Introduction to Visual Culture (22-1105) AND History of Photography I (23-2650) OR History of Photography II (23-2655).
  • Fashion Design majors can double count Introduction to Visual Culture (22-1105) AND Fashion History Survey (27-2175)OR Contemporary Fashion (27-2176) toward both the major and the minor.
  • For all majors, Introduction to Visual Culture (22-1105) will fulfill both the major and the minor requirement.
